In an effort to promote safe hunting practices, a series of hunter safety education classes will be available across the Upper Peninsula next month. This initiative aims to equip both novice and experienced hunters with essential skills and knowledge to ensure safety in the field.
Starting Monday, July 7, over 40 additional class locations will be announced statewide, providing greater accessibility for participants. The classes are designed to cover a range of topics, including firearm safety, wildlife identification, and ethical hunting practices.
Participants will benefit from hands-on training and expert instruction, fostering a culture of safety and responsibility among hunters. These classes are crucial not only for individual safety but also for the preservation of wildlife and natural habitats.
As the hunting season approaches, prospective hunters are encouraged to register early to secure their spots in these valuable educational sessions. This effort underscores the commitment to maintaining safe and responsible hunting practices throughout the region.
