KINGSTON, R.I. – Oct. 2, 2025 – The University of Rhode Island's 2025 Honors Colloquium will feature a thought-provoking lecture by Indigenous education leader Heather J. Shotton. Scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 7, the presentation titled “Becoming Indigenous-Serving Institutions” will delve into the critical role that higher education can play in serving Indigenous communities.
