HAMPTON — Superintendent Dr. Lois Costa and Principal Nathan Saddler are excited to announce that students at Adeline C. Marston Elementary School recently engaged in the Similarity Awareness program, organized by Northeast Passage. This initiative aims to educate students about disabilities and promote a culture of inclusivity within the school community.
During the program, students participated in various activities designed to enhance their understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. By fostering empathy and awareness, the program encourages students to appreciate differences and recognize the importance of inclusivity in their daily lives.
The initiative aligns with the school’s commitment to creating a supportive environment where all students feel valued and included. Dr. Costa and Principal Saddler believe that such programs are vital in shaping a compassionate and understanding future generation. The school community looks forward to continuing its partnership with Northeast Passage and implementing more inclusive practices in the future.
