Zane Razzaq joins Brookline.News as education reporter

Brookline.News has brought Zane Razzaq onto the team as its new education reporter. She will cover the town's schools, students, and teachers, and also help with general assignment stories. Razzaq started in the role on July 26.
Before joining Brookline.News, Razzaq reported on housing and courts for the Cape Cod Times. She also covered education and local government for the MetroWest Daily News. She is a former Brookline resident and holds a master's degree in journalism from Northeastern University.
Razzaq said she is looking forward to digging into the issues facing Brookline's public schools and getting to know the community. Her reporting will focus on the district's policies, classroom challenges, and the people who shape local education. She is also open to story tips and introductions from readers.
