The Chelsea Education Foundation (CEF) and the Educational Foundation of Dexter (EFD) successfully wrapped up their annual Rivalry Match fundraising campaign this fall, achieving an impressive total of $52,080. The campaign, which ran through August and September, culminated on September 26, 2025, coinciding with the highly anticipated football game between Chelsea and Dexter at Al Ritt Stadium.

Supporters from both communities rallied behind their respective foundations, showcasing their commitment to education. Dexter supporters contributed a substantial $27,005, while Chelsea supporters raised $25,075, highlighting the spirited competition between the two towns. This year’s event not only fostered community spirit but also emphasized the importance of supporting local educational initiatives.

The funds raised will go directly towards enhancing educational programs and resources for students in both districts, ensuring that they have access to quality learning experiences. The success of the Rivalry Match reflects the dedication of both communities to investing in the future of their children.
